Not all deterrent spikes are the same.
PestRidge is a low-profile, mechanically fixed alternative to tall wire spikes that rely on an adhesive base.
Adhesive bases age. Sun, heat and weather break down a glue bond over time, and spikes that were stuck down eventually lift or fall away. PestRidge is mechanically screw-fixed to suitable surfaces, so the fixing doesn't rely on the adhesive holding — and the finished profile stays low and discreet.

What you need to know.
Is this pest control?
No. Safehaus installs physical property deterrents. We do not spray pesticides, lay poison, trap wildlife or operate an ongoing pest-treatment program.
How much does installation cost?
Most jobs fall between $295 and $995, with short targeted runs at the lower end. The final figure depends on the length, fixing surface, access, number of areas and the finish required. Send a few clear photos and the property address and we'll provide a fixed written quote before any work begins.
What if the surface can't be drilled from the top?
We carry face-fixing options as well as standard top-fixing. Where a ledge, capping or rail can't take a fixing from above, the deterrent can often be fixed to the vertical face instead — so you still get a mechanical fixing rather than an adhesive one. We assess this from your photos and confirm it before quoting.
Will PestRidge work for both birds and possums?
It depends on the animal, location and surface. PestRidge can be used in selected applications to discourage bird landing and roosting and regular possum travel across treated surfaces. We assess the location before recommending it.
Do you take on small installations?
Yes. Some problems only require a short targeted deterrent run rather than treatment across the entire property. Send us photos of the problem area and we'll advise whether PestRidge is suitable.
Can you quote from photos?
Often, yes. Send the property address, several clear photos and an approximate length. If we need to inspect the fixing surface or access conditions first, we'll arrange a site visit.
Do you remove nests or relocate wildlife?
No. Safehaus does not remove active protected nests, trap wildlife or relocate animals. Where wildlife-management work is required before installation, that work needs to be handled separately by an appropriately authorised provider.
What do we receive when the job is finished?
You'll receive an invoice and before/after completion photos, backed by a 12-month workmanship warranty. For strata and commercial jobs, these can be retained with the property or owners corporation maintenance file.
